Camp Hurontarios spectacular location in the Thirty Thousand Islands of Georgian Bay, two hours north of Toronto, offers the ideal setting for a wide range of outdoor summer activities, including canoeing, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, swimming, rock climbing, ropes, archery, range shooting, fishing, biology and arts.
Our choice of canoe trips ranges from five day trips on Georgian Bay, to week long trips on the Pickerel and French Rivers, to eleven day trips from our northern output in the Chapleau Game Preserve. Our leaders who are 15-16 have the opportunity to do what water trips of a lifetime in James Bay, the Arctic and Labrador.
Our philosophy is designed around growth and development, so that there is always a new and appropriate challenge at each age level. Our small groups and non-competitive atmosphere provides an opportunity for a more flexible approach to learning than that of a school setting. Boys from all over the world are able to develop strong personal skills, great friendships and a wonderful sense of community.
